Bringing in the New Year!

New Year! True Relationship!

First of all Happy New Year to everyone!  As we bring 2020 to an end lets reflect on our relationship with Jesus.  As a teenager I went to church every Sunday but I really didn’t realize what it meant to have a true relationship with Jesus.  As I was in my 20s I received this eye opening opportunity to follow my Lord and Savior.  What a amazing day that was!  God transformed my religion to a real relationship in HIM.  Started sharing my journey in Christ by teaching Middle School and High School teens.  Never in a million year would I thought I would be working in a Christian Youth Group!  But God had other plans for me.

1 Timothy 4:12-13

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.  Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.

Timothy taught me in this Scripture I need to share my Faith, Hope and Love with teens who seem to struggle to  find a true relationship in Jesus.  I lived by this new quote “Let Go-Let God” if you know me that was really hard for me, being I am so independent.  Anyway as we start 2021 pray and open your heart to what God has for you through his son Jesus Christ.  True PEACE!

We have amazing programs here at Bay Point Church in Nokomis.  We have Worship Service at 9am every Sunday (including a Childrens Program).  Youth Group meets Thursdays at 6pm for Middle School and High School teens.  So if you are in  need to find that loving relationship in your life that I found in HIM, come see us!
