When I left the parking lot to take the teens on a Scavenger Hunt, last Sunday, at the mall, my thoughts were ok kids time to have some fun. I divided them into two teams and they had to work together to figure out the clues. When they figured it out they had to rush to that right store and take a selfie. It was amazing how they worked together and how excited they were as a team.
At the end of the game, the team with the most pictures correct won the game. The teens then said that was a lot easier with friends than trying to do it alone and more fun too. Then pizza together, yummy!
I then thought of the following verses: Hebrews 10:24-25 — Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
God knows that when we meet together we get inspired and challenged to live lives for HIM. So, don’t give in to the things that would pull you away from going to church and being with friends who will build you up for the Lord. Decide to always make gathering with other believers, a priority in your life!
Just like the teens work together to hunt the clues I gave them, go into this world and bring love, joy, and Jesus to others in need together. It’s more fun! That is my challenge for everyone! Go live your life for HIM.
Be bold together!
